The 2012 fan-fest is over and there are a lot of cool things that were talked about on the various panels and presentations. Dust 514 coming out this year with some integration into eve is something that is very intriguing. The Orbital bombardment was stunning and enjoyable to watch. I really want to see how much the two games could interact with each other.

Crucible was one of those much needed expansions one that works on the core game mechanics that had been left neglected for far too long, I would like to see more of this updating old outdated mechanics and fixing old features and problems with the game. I don't think they should just focus another expansion solely on this but it should be part of every expansion, keeping the game fresh with new things and updating old ones. The graphic improvements they are continuing to add to the game are just amazing as well. The Nvidia Demo was just insane! Made the visuals more realistic and stunning and would love to see this in eve in the future. Really like what the art team is doing with the rockets,  missiles,  launchers and redesigning some of the older ships, I fly stealth bombers and the new models from what I have seen look stunning cant wait!

With the walking in stations still being developed but with the idea of meaningful game play is something that I think eve dose need. We all know Incarna was a let down for those who really wanted to be able to explore a station and see other players and interact with them out of their ships. They did not go into to much detail about what  "meaningful game play" they were discussing however i am glad they are still doing development with this and I'll post more on what I think walking in stations could be like.

On the alliance panel

Everyone is talking about what happen to the now former CSM Chair the Mittani, although I do think his remarks were out of line about the said player, he was not being a "cyber bully" and I do think the punishment was a bit severe. Some of the gaming media have taken this and made a smear campaign against him. Not only are they calling him a something he isn't but they  are using his real name and ether intentional or unintentionally smearing it and our beloved game and this makes me very unhappy with the gaming media. Things like this need to be stopped by us the gamers and those who support gamer media that are practicing this farce of journalism. We should not stand for 'journalists' who post rumors as fact and those who would copy and paste a story just for page views.
